Carlin faced Owyhee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Railroaders claimed a resounding 48-8 win over the Braves. The Railroaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Dylan Ramirez had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 102 yards and two scores, while also catching one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another back making a difference was Tryston Martinez, who rushed for 22 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Carlin's record now sits at 8-1. As for Owyhee, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
