Wake Forest came out on top against Knightdale on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Hardy's efforts. Hardy didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Hardy's strong effort led Wake Forest over Knightdale and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
