Volleyball Recap: Pius XI Catholic's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pius XI Catholic waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Brown Deer Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Pius XI Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23.

Leading Pius XI Catholic to victory were Lilly Walsh and Zoey Bucio. Walsh had 30 assists and 12 digs, while Bucio had 14 digs. Those 30 assists gave Walsh a new career-high.

Pius XI Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 21-18. As for Brown Deer, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-24.

As of now, neither Pius XI Catholic nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
