Volleyball Game Preview: El Dorado Golden Hawks vs. Yorba Linda Mustangs

After both having extra time off, the El Dorado Golden Hawks and the Yorba Linda Mustangs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Dorado is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times El Dorado and Canyon had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Golden Hawks lost 3-0 to the Comanches last Thursday.

Meanwhile, Yorba Linda came up short against Sunny Hills last Thursday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Yorba Linda ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Yorba Linda, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

El Dorado took their win against Yorba Linda in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Hawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
