Volleyball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

Argos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triton Trojans. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12.

Leading Triton to victory were Clara Doll and Sophie Howell. Doll had nine digs and five aces, while Howell had nine assists and eight digs. Doll has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Argos' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Triton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Argos and Triton will both be playing South Bend Washington the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
