Volleyball Recap: Whitesboro Wins Going Away Against Saint Jo

Whitesboro barely beat Saint Jo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bearcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

While Whitesboro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-11.

The victory snapped Whitesboro's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8 record. As for Saint Jo, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-11.

Coming up, Whitesboro will host Ponder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Jo, they will head out on the road to square off against Petrolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
