Sequoia was the 10-9 winner over King's Academy when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Ravens' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Vince Olinger Giani was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Sequoia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for King's Academy, their record is now 6-4.
