Football Game Preview: Lafayette Hornets vs. Chipley Tigers + How To Watch

The Lafayette Hornets will take on the Chipley Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Chipley will be up against a hot Lafayette squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Hornets claimed a resounding 55-7 win over Branford. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 350th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chipley got themselves on the board against Jefferson County on Friday, but Jefferson County never followed suit. They blew past Jefferson County 35-0.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Chipley, their win bumped their record up to an identical 8-1.
