Volleyball Recap: Rolla Comes Up Short

Rolla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minneola Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Saturday.

Rolla was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Rolla's defeat dropped their record down to 6-23-1. As for Minneola, their victory bumped their record up to 7-24.

Coincidentally, Rolla and Minneola will both be playing Bucklin the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Red Aces at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
