Soccer Game Preview: Turlock vs. Pitman

The Turlock Bulldogs will take on the Pitman Pride at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Turlock is headed into the matchup having not lost since January 14 and will look to keep things rolling. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Gregori on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly two goals.

They hit Gregori with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexander Navas, Mathew Mendoza, Fernando Carbajal, and Sebastian Carbajal.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pitman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Modesto an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Pride might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

Turlock is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those seven matchups. As for Pitman, their win bumped their record up to 13-4-2.
