North Kitsap dropped their record down to 11-4-1 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 12-6 to the Mount Si Wildcats. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Vikings, who until this matchup were averaging 3.88 runs allowed.
Tate Stearns was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Dawsyn Anderson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
