Volleyball Recap: Oconomowoc Takes a Loss

Oconomowoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders.

Oconomowoc was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Cody Haar paced Oconomowoc's offense, picking up seven kills. Haar got some help from Nate Karnowski and his 12 assists. Haar was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Oconomowoc's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wauwatosa East, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Oconomowoc wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sun Prairie United on the 13th. As for Wauwatosa East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cedarburg on the 13th.
