Soccer Recap: Groton Falls Short Against Ranked Mitchell

Groton faced Mitchell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Tigers lost 6-0 to the Kernels. Groton have struggled against Mitchell recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Groton fell to 4-1-1. As for Mitchell, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.
