Soccer Recap: Weequahic Comes Up Short

Weequahic lost against Newark Collegiate Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Indians lost 5-0 to the Panthers.

Weequahic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Newark Collegiate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Weequahic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Golda Och Academy at 4:30 p.m. on October 9. As for Newark Collegiate Academy, they will take on Payne Tech on Wednesday.
