Basketball Game Preview: Apache Junction Prospectors vs. Globe Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Apache Junction Prospectors will head out on the road to face off against the Globe Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Apache Junction was beaten by Gilbert Christian 70-19. While losing is never fun, the Prospectors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Knights are ranked 89th).

Meanwhile, Globe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-42 defeat at the hands of Willcox.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
