Volleyball Recap: Lewis Mills Spartans vs. Enfield Eagles
Lewis Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Enfield Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-11.
Jack Biggs paced Lewis Mills' offense, picking up five kills. Biggs got some help from Will Ravlin and his 13 assists.
Lewis Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Enfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewis Mills will challenge East Hartford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Enfield, they will face off against Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
