Soccer Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado lost against Sierra Vista back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Firehawks fell just short of the Mountain Lions by a score of 3-2. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Eldorado couldn't quite close it out.

Eldorado has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-2 record this season. As for Sierra Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eldorado will challenge rival Desert Oasis at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sierra Vista is set to take on their familiar foe Las Vegas at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
