New Brockton has gone 7-2 against Samson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Gamecocks will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for New Brockton's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (18-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Samson came up short against Geneva County on Wednesday, falling 16-2. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Samson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Zorn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Emma Sormrude, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Samson's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for New Brockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

New Brockton took their victory against Samson when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 18-9 score. Will the Gamecocks repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
