Softball Game Preview: North Forney Falcons vs. Longview Lobos

The North Forney Falcons will head out to square off against the Longview Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Forney has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

North Forney came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-2 to Royse City. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 1, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Aundrea Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Longview came up short against Rockwall-Heath on Tuesday, falling 18-3.

North Forney's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-12-1. As for Longview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
