Volleyball Recap: Stoughton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Stoughton had to endure a ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Kenosha Tremper Trojans by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Stoughton took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

Leading Stoughton to victory were Maddy Thoren and Makenna Angerhofer. Thoren had eight digs and five aces, while Angerhofer had 13 digs. That's the most digs Thoren has posted over her last nine contests.

Stoughton's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Kenosha Tremper, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Stoughton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Brodhead on the 20th. As for Kenosha Tremper, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wilmot at 6:30 p.m. on October 1.
