Softball Recap: White Hall Wins Going Away Against El Dorado

White Hall never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the El Dorado Wildcats. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Kenley Daniel tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Taylor Irvin was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Lilly Eubanks was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for White Hall and bumps their season record up to 13-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for El Dorado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Hall will square off against Hot Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for El Dorado, they will take on Junction City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.75 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
