Volleyball Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Providence Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the East Mecklenburg Eagles and fell 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Providence sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-13, 24-26, 15-13.

Providence now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Mecklenburg, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence will face off against Butler at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Mecklenburg, they will host Sun Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
