Volleyball Recap: Fayetteville Has No Trouble Against Wadley + How To Watch

Fayetteville had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 27-8 to make it four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wadley Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Kenleigh McArthur paced Fayetteville's offense, picking up 15 kills. McArthur got some help from Isabella Kelley and her 28 assists. McArthur was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

As for Wadley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 16th.

Wadley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bentley Mulkey, who had 20 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 20 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Overton, who had 19 digs and two blocks.

Fayetteville has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against McKenzie on the 22nd. As for Wadley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Brantley on the 22nd.
