Basketball Game Preview: North Chicago Warhawks vs. Grayslake Central Rams

North Chicago hasn't had much luck against Grayslake Central recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The North Chicago Warhawks will take on the Grayslake Central Rams at 7:00 p.m.

North Chicago is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 34th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They took a blow against Grant Community, falling 49-9.

Meanwhile, Grayslake Central waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 45-38 win over the Patriots.

Grayslake Central pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for North Chicago, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

North Chicago was dealt a bruising 59-14 defeat at the hands of Grayslake Central when the teams last played back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point North Chicago was down 32-6.
