Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Union Blue Devils vs. San Miguel Vipers

The Valley Union Blue Devils will head out to take on the San Miguel Vipers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Valley Union lost 3-0 to The Gregory School on Thursday.

Valley Union was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-21.

Meanwhile, San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Benson, falling 3-0.

Valley Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for San Miguel, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-20.

Everything went Valley Union's way against San Miguel in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Valley Union made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
