Basketball Recap: Rawle Tapper-Howard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Varsity Opponent

On Monday, Barrie had just enough and edged Varsity Opponent out 32-29. The win made it back-to-back victories for Barrie.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Barrie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rawle Tapper-Howard, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Brisbon, who had three points and four steals.

Barrie now has a winning record of 2-1.

Barrie will challenge BASIS Independent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-34 defeat against KIPP King on the 9th.
