Soccer Game Preview: Turlock vs. Enochs

The Turlock Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Enochs Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Turlock will be strutting in after a victory while Enochs will be coming in after a defeat.

Turlock is headed into the contest having not lost since December 6 and will look to keep things rolling. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Downey on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Turlock's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while Downey are ranked 108th).

Sebastian Chahal and Manuel Guerrero scored both of Turlock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Despite a strong season so far, Enochs has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Modesto.

Enochs' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Turlock, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-4.

Turlock was able to grind out a solid victory over Enochs when the teams last played back in January of 2025, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
