Basketball Recap: Junction City/St. Xavier Comes Up Short

Junction City/St. Xavier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 66-12 loss at the hands of the Salina Central Mustangs. The match marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Junction City/St. Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Salina Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays take on the Olathe East Hawks on Tuesday. Junction City/St. Xavier is facing Olathe East at the right time seeing as Olathe East is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Salina Central has already played their next game, a 58-30 win against Abilene on the 25th.
