There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll tackle that and more in this week's report.
This Week's Big Showdown
On paper, the match between Natrona County (2nd in the power rankings) and Sheridan (12th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. Natrona County had all the answers against Sheridan, winning 34 - 7. The victory boosted Natrona County a satisfying six spots in the power rankings.
No Stoppin 'Em
Wheatland and Upton/Sundance went up, up, and away last week as they combined for the highest point total (78) among all power ranked teams. Upton/Sundance claimed a 44 - 34 victory over Wheatland. The win raised Upton/Sundance up three spots in the power rankings.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Rawlins (16th in the power rankings) and Cody (1st). Both teams are rolling into the game after last-week wins. Only one team will win this week, so we'll see which team fails to repeat its success.
