It was a good run, but Camarillo unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Moorpark Musketeers by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Scorpions have suffered since April 4, 2024.

Janelle Rillo-Figueroa spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks.

At the plate, Alianna Rodriguez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Camarillo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Moorpark, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
