Softball Recap: East Ridge Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, East Ridge finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pikeville Panthers, falling 11-2. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 16-3.

The defeat snapped East Ridge's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-12 record. As for Pikeville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-16.

East Ridge has already played their next contest (against Phelps), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pikeville, they will head out to take on Johnson Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
