Flag Football Recap: Gigi Richert Leads Palma's Defense on Monday

Palma lost against Carmel back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chieftains took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Padres.

Even if they lost, Palma's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Gigi Richert.

Palma's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Carmel, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4.

Palma didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-0 victory against Hollister on the 15th. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-13 win against Salinas on the 15th.
