Football Recap: Lafayette Hornets vs. Franklin County Seahawks        
        
		
             Lafayette extended their  winning streak to three games  thanks to a huge performance from  Tywan K Williamson. The Lafayette Hornets breezed by the Franklin County Seahawks to the tune of  39-6 on Friday thanks in part to  K Williamson, who threw for 238 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making a tackle and defending a pass in addition to snagging  two  interceptions.
  Trevor Mares was another key player, picking up  a  sack and making 11 total tackles. He is  on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made seven or more in the last six games he's  played.
 Lafayette was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 258  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 184  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
 Lafayette didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  K Williamson and  Trevor Byrd.
 Despite the loss, Franklin County still got an impressive performance from   Ajaylen Mcnair, who rushed for 103 yards on only 14 carries. Those 103  rushing yards gave  Mcnair a new career-high.
 Lafayette now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Franklin County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record  this season.
 Lafayette will square off against Chipley at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Chipley's defense has only allowed 9.6  points per game  this season, so Lafayette's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Aucilla Christian  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Aucilla Christian is coming into the  game with three straight  victories on the road,  so Franklin County will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
