Basketball Game Preview: Marion Scarlet Hurricanes vs. Lebanon Pioneers

The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes will challenge the Lebanon Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marion will be strutting in after a win while Lebanon will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Marion was fully in charge, breezing past Tazewell 66-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scarlet Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, Lebanon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 36-30 to Graham. The Pioneers haven't had much luck with the G-Men recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The victory got Marion back to even at 11-11. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Marion couldn't quite finish off Lebanon in their previous meeting on February 4th and fell 42-40. Can Marion avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
