Football Recap: Grand Island Comes Up Short on the Road Against Kenmore West

Grand Island kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Kenmore West Blue Devils, falling 35-14. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Coming up, Grand Island will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Iroquois at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenmore West, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Lockport at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
