            Baseball Recap: Olympia Titans vs. East River Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the East River Falcons. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2021.
Olympia got a good showing from  Socrates Martinez, who   struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Martinez has been consistent  for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Samuel Grande made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for East River, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
 Olympia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East River, they will face off against Lyman at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. This will  be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
