It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Foley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Escambia Gators. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Foley's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Escambia, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foley will take on Ohatchee in a tournament on Monday. As for Escambia, they will head out to challenge Elberta at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Escambia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.
