Volleyball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Takes a Loss

Wilber-Clatonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fillmore Central Panthers. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Wilber-Clatonia's offense was headlined by Haleah Schuerman and Hannah Kohout, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Brynn Zajicek and her six assists. Schuerman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Wilber-Clatonia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Fillmore Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

Wilber-Clatonia has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sandy Creek on the 14th. As for Fillmore Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Thayer Central on the 13th.
