Hedgesville won the last time they faced Saint James and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Saints by a score of 6-1.

Chloe Frankhouser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, Lexie Brown was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brynn Miller, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Hedgesville's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Saint James, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Hedgesville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 loss against Jefferson on the 21st. As for Saint James, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Fort Hill on the 23rd.
