Volleyball Recap: Montgomery County Wildcats vs. Eldon Mustangs
Montgomery County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Eldon Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15.
Reyna Taylor was the offensive standout of the game as she had 13 digs and two aces.
Montgomery County's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Eldon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-7-1.
Montgomery County is on the road again on Saturday to play Strafford at 2:45 p.m. As for Eldon, they will challenge Montgomery County at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
