Softball Recap: Legacy Charter Eagles vs. Evans Trojans
Legacy Charter scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past the Evans Trojans 21-6. The victory was some much needed relief for Legacy Charter as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Legacy Charter got a massive performance out of Mallory Daniels, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Layni Combs, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Legacy Charter's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Evans, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Legacy Charter will head out on the road to take on Trinity Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Evans, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Edgewater at 7:00 p.m.
