Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Christian Academy lost against Christian Heritage Academy back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Faith Christian Academy lost 53-27 to the Christian Heritage Academy Knights. Faith Christian Academy was down 41-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Luke Mason continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Christian Heritage Academy, going 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. The dominant performance gave Mason a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Ingram, who went 5 for 6 en route to 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Faith Christian Academy is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7. As for Christian Heritage Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will challenge Timberlake Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian Academy is facing Timberlake Christian at the right time seeing as Timberlake Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they will face off against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Christian Heritage Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
