Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Science Academy vs. Cathedral Fighting Irish

Harmony Science Academy will venture away from home to square off against the Cathedral Fighting Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Harmony Science Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Bowie just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 56-44 to the Bears.

Meanwhile, Cathedral waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Lions with points to spare, taking the game 58-40.

Harmony Science Academy's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-14. As for Cathedral, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14.

Harmony Science Academy lost to Cathedral on the road by a decisive 55-41 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Harmony Science Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
