Basketball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington lost against Lauderdale County last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lexington Golden Bears were dealt an 80-30 loss at the hands of the Lauderdale County Tigers. The contest marked the Golden Bears' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Lauderdale County, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

When Lexington and Lauderdale County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Lexington will try to stop Shoals Christian's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lauderdale County will take on Deshler and their 16-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
