Preview: Ravenna Ravens vs. Norton Panthers
Ravenna is 0-10 against Norton since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Ravenna Ravens will head out on the road to face off against the Norton Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Ravenna will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 590th, while Norton is ranked 275th).
Last Friday, Ravenna lost to Springfield on the road by a decisive 43-29 margin.
Meanwhile, Norton entered their tilt with Cloverleaf with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Norton managed a 65-60 win over Cloverleaf on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Norton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Ravenna was taken down by Norton 63-14 when the teams last played back in February. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Ravenna was down 39-10.
