Soccer Recap: Iroquois Comes Up Short

After flying high against Corry on Thursday, Iroquois came back down to earth. The Braves fell just short of the Seneca Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Seneca this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in September.

Hunter Chew and Messiah Scott scored both of Iroquois' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Iroquois has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Seneca, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Iroquois wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Eisenhower on the 8th. As for Seneca, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Corry on the 8th.
