Football Game Preview: Tyrone vs. Grandfield

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Tyrone takes on Grandfield in the first playoff game of the year. Tyrone has been tearing up the end zone with big points in its last six contests.

Tyrone can now show off six landslide victories after its most recent game. It breezed past Kremlin-Hillsdale last week with a final score of 46 - 22. The margin wasn't a surprise since Tyrone is ranked many positions ahead of Kremlin-Hillsdale in the MaxPreps nationional rankings. Meanwhile, things didn't go well at all for Grandfield two weeks ago, where the team lost 52 - 6 to Southwest Covenant.

Grandfield's defeat dropped it to 2-6 while Tyrone's win brought it to 9-0. We'll find out on Friday if Tyrone can snag another victory or if Grandfield will turn things around for itself.
