Mateo Pope Game Report: vs Otis

Mateo Pope has led Flatirons Academy in stolen bases on the season and he led the team again on Saturday. Pope was unstoppable, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Looking ahead, Pope and Flatirons Academy will square off against SkyView Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bison had to take a loss when they last met the Hawks, but Pope had little to do with the loss: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk).
