Football Recap: Shaler Area Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Shaler Area was riding high fresh off their 35-14 takedown of Fox Chapel last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans were beaten by the Pine-Richland Rams 49-17 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pine-Richland was led to victory by AARON STRADER and BO HECKERT. STRADER threw for 196 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.2% of his passes, while HECKERT rushed for 102 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. STRADER has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. KHALIL TAYLOR was in the mix too, providing Pine-Richland with two scores.

Shaler Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pine-Richland, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
