Coon Rapids-Bayard waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They fell just short of the Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons by a score of 2-1. The loss was the Crusaders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coon Rapids-Bayard fell to 12-1. As for Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Coon Rapids-Bayard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against IKM/Manning on the 22nd. As for Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodbury Central on October 7.
